We loved playing in the snow. It was cold! We made a snow volcano and Mrs Lindsay put some red dye on it. It looked like lava.

Ice Skating!

We had great weather for our trip to the skating rink at Tekapo. Al of the children were keen to skate, and all of them improved step by step. Like all sports, if you put the time in, you will improve, and by the end of our session, there were some quite confident little skaters.

Term 3

Thank you to Mrs Brophy for teaching Room 7 for the first two weeks (nearly) of Term 3 while Ms Douglas was unexpectedly away due to her brother's illness.
There are some big changes in our class this term.
Blake, Jessica, Sam and Jenna graduated from Room 7 and are now in Room 9. We will miss you a lot but we will still see you in the playground and around the school.
Robert has begun school, and now we look forward to school visits from Finn.
Dayna arrived from a school in Christchurch and has joined our class, so now we have four girls and ten boys.
Ms McNeill is on leave and Mrs Elaine Lindsay will be taking our class in her place. Ms Sophie Brown will also be teaching the class for one hour a week..

End of Term 2

What a busy time it was with our Production of George and the Dragon. Room 7 sang two songs.
