Easter Holidays

The holidays begin on good Friday 6th April.

We begin back at school on Monday 23rd April and....

Guess what?

Anzac day is on Wednesday 25th April

so school will be closed on this day.

Autumn

We have been talking about the four seasons.

Spring. Summer. Autumn. Winter.

We went for a walk around the school and looked for signs of Autumn. 

We found colourful trees, chestnuts and seeds in our garden.

Some trees have fruit on them.

Twizel is beautiful in Autumn.

Easter

To celebrate Easter we decorated 
hard boiled eggs with vivid pens.

We made little Easter Bunny baskets to put them in.
We filled them with Autumn leaves.

All of our eggs survived the day!
(First time ever!)

Class Party

Party! Party! Party!

Why?

Robert, Finn and Charlie had their last day in Room 7.

Next term they move to Room 9.

Today was also the last day for Miss Dockerty.

She is going back to Teachers College.

We have loved having you in our class Miss Dockerty

and we will all miss you.

Room 4 Construction Day

Room 4 children borrowed a lot of our construction materials to make these models.

They have been studying the wonders of the world, 

both modern and ancient, and had to construct their own version of a building.
