Science Experiment with Milk, Food Colouring and Detergent.

We did some Science experiments with Ms McNeill.
We put milk into a dish.

We put some blue food colouring into the milk.

Then we put green food colouring into the milk.

We added some detergent.

The colours went zoom around the dish.
It was soooo fast!

 The patterns look beautiful.

We tried this using Homogenised milk and Trim milk.

The colours spread much faster with one type of milk
than the other.
Wonder why this happens?

Tomorrow we will see what happens when we use cream.
We wonder what happens if we use different colours?
