Police Dogs 24-11-11

Two Police Dog handlers and their dogs visited Twizel today.

First they got Sam to show how they began to train a dog.

"Good boy, Sam!"

Then the policeman brought out his police dog.

 

It costs $45,000 dollars to train a police dog.

A policeman put special padded sleeves on
and they sent a dog after him.

 The dog caught him and dragged him to the ground.

Then they showed how two dogs work together to catch

'The bad man."
