We went to Twin Lakes. KP showed us some of
the native.birds we find near Twin Lakes.
These are Paradise ducks.
This is a Shoveler duck.
This is a Banded Doterell.
This is a White Faced Heron.
The Black Stilt is an endangered bird.
Its Maori name is "Kaki."
Sometimes you might see or hear a little owl.
This is a toy owl.
