Apple Fractions

We got one apple

Then we cut it into 2.

We made halves.

Then we got another apple and cut it into 4.

We made quarters.

We made eighths, sixteenths,

thirds and sixths.

Then we ate all of the apples.

There are 14 children in the class and 2 adults.

We all ate one sixteenth of an apple and that was 

the end of that apple!
