The Magic of Fungi

We are studying Fungi
and yeast is part of the Fungi family.
We put some yeast in a test tube. 

We added warm water.

What else do you think we added to the test tube?

Then we put a balloon over the test tube.

This is what happened to the balloons.

When we got to school on Tuesday morning 
all of the balloons had gone down. 
It was minus 6 degrees outside
and we think it was too cold.
We did the experiment again so we could see 
the balloons blowing up.
